Who we are

GRIND ESPORTS (“we”, “us”) operates https://grindesports.com, a platform for paid and free practice lobbies for BGMI and Free Fire. The platform is operated by Dasari Nandhini. For payments, the merchant of record with PayU is NANDINI DASARI.

What we collect, and why

Data	Why we hold it
Name, email address and profile picture from Google or Discord	To create and identify your account. We never receive or store your Google or Discord password.
Team name, tag, region, and optionally a Discord handle and mobile number	To register your team, contact you about a lobby, and print your team on results and standings.
In-game name (IGN) and numeric game UID for each player	To verify that the players who compete are the players registered. Players must participate using the same IGN registered on the platform. Players with mismatched or unauthorized IGNs may be removed from the lobby.
Bookings: lobby, slot, amount, and the PayU transaction and payment reference	To confirm your slot, issue receipts, and handle refunds and disputes.
Session packages: what you bought, credits used, and the PayU references	To track your credit balance and its expiry.
Fan votes: the account that voted, the IP address, the browser user-agent, and a hashed device identifier	To enforce one vote per account per session, and to detect and remove vote farming. In the free community lobby these votes decide who plays, so this record is what makes the result defensible.
Email delivery records: recipient, subject and whether it was sent	To answer “did that invite or receipt actually arrive?”.
Administrative action log	To record who changed what — role changes, disqualifications, cancellations.
Usage analytics via Google Analytics 4	To understand which pages and features are used. Disabled on local development.

We never see your card or UPI details. Payment is completed on PayU's own hosted checkout. We receive only the outcome and PayU's transaction references — no card number, no UPI PIN, no bank credentials, and nothing that could be used to charge you again.

Cookies

Clearing cookies signs you out and resets the device identifier. Nothing on the platform requires you to accept advertising cookies, because we do not set any.

Who else processes your data

PayU (PayU Payments Private Limited, India) — payment processing. Handled under their own privacy policy.
Amazon Web Services (Mumbai, ap-south-1) — hosting, database, and transactional email via Amazon SES.
Google — sign-in (if you use Google) and Google Analytics 4.
Discord — sign-in, if you use Discord.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored on servers in India (AWS Mumbai). Some of the providers above may process data outside India under their own terms.

How long we keep it

Account, team and roster data — while your account exists.
Bookings, payments and package purchases — retained after your account closes, because we are required to keep financial records and may need them for a dispute.
Votes — retained with the session they belong to, so a published result stays auditable.
Email and admin logs — retained as an operational record.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Show you the personal data we hold about you.
Correct anything inaccurate — you can already edit your team, roster, IGN and UID yourself.
Delete your account and personal data. We will keep the minimum financial record of any payment, and votes already cast remain part of a completed session's result.
Stop non-essential email — every such message carries an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out from your account. Essential mail (receipts, room credentials, roster changes) continues, because it is how the service works.

Under 18

If you are under 18, you may use the platform only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and any payment must be made by them. If you believe a child has registered without that consent, contact us and we will remove the account.
